Pan Bila
One of our long time partners and friends in Ouagadougou are the people of Pan-Bila.
The name Pan-Bila means little power in the local Moore language, but their programs show with high evidence that with little means and hard work much can be achieved. Not only have hundreds of street children found shelter at their center, were returned and reintegrated to their original families but they also have build a complete primary school, run a food security program, a micro-credit program, a traffic circuit for learning the traffic rules and a planetarium (the first in the country). Noel and Manja Soetaert and Fred and Natanja Hansen and Joke and Immanuel Soetaert are long term missionary volunteers send out by Tearfund Belgium and work with a local NGO Progetto Africa.
